After flying high against Ponchatoula on Friday, Quitman came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell just short of the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Archbishop Chapelle, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
