Gabe Grossman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Raymer Guzman, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jace Oddo, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Harvard Ellis Tech duked it out with Prince RVT on Monday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 21-11 margin over the Falcons.

Grasso Tech's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Harvard Ellis Tech, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Grasso Tech suffered a grim 17-2 defeat to Harvard Ellis Tech when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Grasso Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
