Soccer Recap: Northland Pines Comes Up Short

Northland Pines lost against Rhinelander on May 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Hodags, falling 4-0. Northland Pines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northland Pines' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for Rhinelander, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northland Pines will take on rival Mosinee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rhinelander is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Rhinelander have won six straight at home, while Lakeland won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
