Soccer Recap: Half Moon Bay Takes a Loss

Half Moon Bay fell victim to Saratoga and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Saratoga Falcons by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one goal.

Half Moon Bay now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Saratoga, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Half Moon Bay will square off against Salinas at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday. Salinas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Saratoga, they will face off against Live Oak at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday. Saratoga's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
