Veterans' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Baughier, who had nine assists and four digs. The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Thomas County Central easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-6.
Thomas County Central's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Veterans, their victory bumped their record up to 20-10.
