Football Game Preview: Danbury Panthers vs. Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats

Danbury is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats at 7:30 p.m. Bloomington took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Danbury, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Danbury was able to grind out a solid victory over Louise, taking the game 20-8.

Christopher Warren had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 118 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Danbury proved: they limited Louise to a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. The Panthers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.4.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Bloomington was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Van Vleck and fell 58-7. The Bobcats/Lady Cats have struggled against the Leopards recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Danbury's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bloomington, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
