Basketball Recap: Decatur Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Decatur Eisenhower was the 70-57 winner over Rochester when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Decatur Eisenhower Panthers fell to the Rochester Rockets 45-41. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rochester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tanner Beal, who posted eight points and seven boards. Beal is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Cox, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Decatur Eisenhower now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Rochester, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Decatur Eisenhower will face off against St. Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Decatur Eisenhower is facing St. Teresa at the right time seeing as St. Teresa is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Rochester has already played their next contest, a 61-39 loss against Centennial on the 25th.
