Williams Field came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

Gavin Mortensen paced Williams Field's offense, picking up eight kills. Mortensen got some help from Luke Raymond and his 20 assists. Mortensen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
