Wesleyan Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Christ School Greenies. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nick Papciak was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brandon Loehr, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Wesleyan Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Wesleyan Christian Academy pushed their record up to 14-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Christ School, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15-1.

As of now, neither Wesleyan Christian Academy nor the Greenies have any future games scheduled.
