Basketball Recap: Logos Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Orofino wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Logos, they should've done a better job of containing Seamus Wilson. The Logos Knights put the hurt on the Orofino Maniacs with a sharp 77-53 win on Friday thanks in part to Wilson, who went 10 for 17 en route to 24 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jes Brower, who posted ten points and six rebounds. Those six boards gave him a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Logos and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Orofino, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logos has already played their next match (against Bonners Ferry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Orofino will head out on the road to take on Priest River at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
