Preview: King Wolves vs. Crenshaw Cougars
After ten games on the road, King is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Crenshaw Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Friday, King was the victim of a tough 70-50 defeat at the hands of Poly. King was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-22.
The losing side was boosted by Mathias Tinker, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Davis, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Crenshaw pushed their score all the way to 66 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 78-66 to Venice.
King now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Crenshaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
