Somonauk lost against Serena back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Huskers. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20.

Somonauk's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Serena, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6-1.

Looking ahead, Somonauk will square off against Hinckley-Big Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Serena, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Newark on the 11th.
