             Eisenhower lost against Jurupa Hills back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Monday. The Eisenhower Eagles took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jurupa Hills Spartans.
 Eisenhower actually scored more points across those four sets (88-86), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 11-25, 25-22,  25-22.
 When it comes to explaining why Eisenhower lost, don't look at  Azaleah Baca. Despite the final result, she  had 12  digs and two  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Eisenhower  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 0  aces per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 12.5.
 Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Jurupa Hills, they now  have a winning record of 9-8.
 Eisenhower will head out to  square off against Notre Dame  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Notre Dame is on a five-game streak of home wins, Eisenhower a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Jurupa Hills, they will host Carter  at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Jurupa Hills is facing Carter at the right time seeing as Carter is stuck on  an  11-game losing streak.
