The Grace Academy Lions will challenge the Pro Stock Royals Academy Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Things were looking good for Grace Academy after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of North Hills Christian by a score of 10-9.

Seth Stanton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Grace Academy is 6-1 when Stanton posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Hunter Murphy was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Pro Stock Royals Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Providence Day. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Royals have suffered since April 4th.
Pro Stock Royals Academy also got a good showing from Zach Rometo, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave Rometo a new career-low in walks (one).
On the hitting side, Pro Stock Royals Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Santos, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
Pro Stock Royals Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Grace Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Grace Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Pro Stock Royals Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
