Basketball Recap: Greater Vision Academy Piles Up the Points Against Liberty Christian

A well-balanced attack led Greater Vision Academy over Liberty Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Lions blew the Patriots out of the water with a 69-30 final score. The Lions pushed the score to 63-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had no chance of recovering from.

Greater Vision Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayce King, who went 8-for-14 en route to 17 points and five steals. Thanks to that strong game, King now owns an excellent 48.6% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Bradun Rogers, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 16 points and three steals.

The victory got Greater Vision Academy back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Greater Vision Academy will host Fellowship Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Grace Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
