Baseball Recap: Green Bay Southwest Comes Up Short

Green Bay Southwest extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 9-17 in the process. They came up short against the Pulaski Red Raiders, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fighting Trojans have suffered since May 2nd.

As for Pulaski, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by nine runs or more this season.

For Pulaski's part, Braun Wotruba was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Wotruba has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Wotruba, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
