Softball Recap: Hardin County Comes Up Short

Hardin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 11-6 to the Lawrence County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-6 back in March.

Hardin County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Lawrence County, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Hardin County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-2 loss against Lexington on the 22nd. As for Lawrence County, they will head out to square off against Central Magnet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence County's pitchers better be ready for this one: Central Magnet has averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
