Football Preview: Mission Oak Hawks vs. Golden West Trailblazers
After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Mission Oak is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Golden West Trailblazers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Golden West can attribute much of their success to Case Anders, who gained 184 total yards and three touchdowns, and Jayden Najera, who threw for 218 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Anders got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible80 yards. Isaac Elias was Najera's top target, picking up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Golden West's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. David Lopez led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Evan Renteria's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Mission Oak's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Golden West, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
