Volleyball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Peachtree Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lanier Longhorns. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Peachtree Ridge ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Peachtree Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Lanier, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 18-16.

Peachtree Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Parkview on the 6th. As for Lanier, they will head out on the road to challenge Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
