Volleyball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Peachtree Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lanier Longhorns. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Peachtree Ridge ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Peachtree Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Lanier, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 18-16 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Peachtree Ridge will challenge Parkview at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lanier, they will head out to take on Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
