Clover Garden School is 1-9 against Cornerstone Charter since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cornerstone Charter took on River Mill on Wednesday. The Cardinals really took it to the Jaguars for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-37 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-20.

Clover Garden School better focus on containing Jackson Shaffrey and Lake Bristol as the pair were huge in Cornerstone Charter's win. Shaffrey dropped a double-double with 20 points and 25 boards, while Bristol went 8-for-15 en route to 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most points Bristol has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Charles Walker, who earned 13 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

Cornerstone Charter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clover Garden School, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
