Basketball Recap: Harding University Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Harding University lost to Berry back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Harding University Rams walked away with a 62-54 win over the Berry Cardinals.

Leading Harding University to victory were Soloman Boakye and Kaharri Coleman. Boakye went 6 for 7 on his way to 16 points, while Coleman went 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points and eight assists. Boakye is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayton Ross, who posted five points.

Harding University's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Berry, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

As for Berry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-53 defeat against Porter Ridge on the 30th.
