Basketball Recap: Davenport Triumphs

Davenport won the last time they faced Navarro, and Brandon Castilla did his part to make sure it happened again. The Davenport Wolves blew past the Navarro Panthers, posting a 61-31 victory thanks in part to Castilla, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. Those ten steals gave him a new career-high.

Davenport's record now sits at 20-4. As for Navarro, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davenport will face off against Fredericksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fredericksburg will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Davenport surely won't give up without a fight. As for Navarro, they will take on Canyon Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
