Baseball Recap: Coconino Comes Up Short

Coconino saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to the Buena Colts. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coconino saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Hanley, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Coconino's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Buena, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Coconino will take on Canyon del Oro in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Buena, they will be taking part in a tournament against Walden Grove at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Buena is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
