South Wake had won five straight games and Noah Wright did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The South Wake Sabres blew past the Goldsboro HomeSchool Heat 97-66 thanks in part to Wright, who went 14 of 17 from beyond the arc on his way to 50 points and five rebounds. His evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Marcus Webb was another key player, putting up five points along with six assists and five boards. Those six assists gave him a new career-high.

South Wake pushed their record up to 21-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.6 points. As for Goldsboro HomeSchool, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Wake will take on New Life Camp at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Goldsboro HomeSchool, they will square off against Community Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Community Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Goldsboro HomeSchool likes a good challenge.
