After a string of six wins, Jim Hill's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Jones Mustangs. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in January.

Jim Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for West Jones, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Jim Hill and West Jones should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings. Jim Hill (ranked 65th) will meet Pearl River Central (ranked 212th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Jones will face off against Hattiesburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 77 places (35 vs. 112).
