Softball Recap: Bangor Takes a Loss

Bangor fell victim to Pen Argyl and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Green Knights, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Slaters were not able to get on the board.

Bangor now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pen Argyl, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bangor will welcome Salisbury Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Slaters' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season. As for Pen Argyl, they will host Southern Lehigh at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
