 The Crestwood Red Devils will head out on the road to  square off against  the Wickliffe Blue Devils at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Crestwood is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses.
 Crestwood will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two  runs  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Beachwood  on Saturday. Everything went Crestwood's way against Beachwood as Crestwood made off with  an  11-1 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Crestwood's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 The team  relied heavily on  Landon Kuenzer, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Wright, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Wickliffe came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bison 11-5. Considering Wickliffe has won seven games by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Noah Dohm and  Blake Ludvik did most of the damage at the plate:  Dohm  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances, while  Ludvik  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Brandon Henderson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Crestwood's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-11. As for Wickliffe, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 12 contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record  this season.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Crestwood has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.6  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Wickliffe struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.1. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Crestwood came out on top in a nail-biter against Wickliffe  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2018, sneaking past  4-3. Does  Crestwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wickliffe turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
