Western Reserve won the last time they faced East Palestine and things went their way on Saturday too. The Western Reserve Blue Devils walked away with a 50-41 win over the East Palestine Bulldogs.

East Palestine's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Bycroft, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points. That's the most points Bycroft has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Owen Jurjavcic, who scored 12 points and eight rebounds.

Western Reserve's record now sits at 13-9. As for East Palestine, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Western Reserve does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Palestine, they will be taking part in a tournament against Newton Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Palestine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season.
