West Florida got themselves on the board against Milton on Friday, but Milton never followed suit. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

West Florida's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Thomas, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

West Florida's record is now 21-3. As for Milton, they dropped their record down to 9-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, West Florida will be playing in front of their home fans against Walton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.29 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Milton, they will square off against Gulf Breeze at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Dolphins at the right time seeing as the Dolphins are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
