Softball Recap: Sunapee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mascoma on Tuesday, Sunapee came back down to earth. The Lakers came up short against the Franklin Gldn Tornadoes on Wednesday, falling 17-8. The Lakers have struggled against the Gldn Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Sunapee's record now sits at 5-11. As for Franklin, their record is now 11-6.

Sunapee has already played their next game (against Pittsfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Franklin, they will host Nute at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.88 runs per game on average), something the Gldn Tornadoes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
