After losing to Hancock County the last time they met, Cumberland Gap decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cumberland Gap Panthers managed a 68-64 win over the Hancock County Indians on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Cumberland Gap was led to victory by Brady Harris and Kolton Goins. Harris dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards, while Goins went 6 for 12 on his way to 23 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Goins has scored at least a third of Cumberland Gap's points. Gavin Barton was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.

Cumberland Gap's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Hancock County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Cumberland Gap will venture away from home to face off against Twin Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hancock County, they will challenge Cosby at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cosby's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
