Softball Recap: Robstown Victorious

Robstown gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a run and slipped past the Somerset Bulldogs 8-7.

The team relied heavily on Ariel Flores, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Olivia Morales was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Robstown's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Somerset, they moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Robstown will be taking part in a tournament against Nixon-Smiley at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Somerset, they will take on Del Rio in a tournament on Saturday.
