Soccer Recap: Monomoy Comes Up Short

Monomoy was the 3-0 winner over Archbishop Williams when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sharks fell 4-2 to the Bishops on Monday.

Chris Shea and Ben Hager scored both of Monomoy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Monomoy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-5. As for Archbishop Williams, they pushed their record up to 7-5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Monomoy will square off against Nauset Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Archbishop Williams, they will face off against Bishop Stang at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
