Baseball Recap: Massac County Find Success

Massac County won the last time they faced Vienna and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Eagles 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted since March 29th.

Adan Mizell was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Massac County's record now sits at 15-6. As for Vienna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Massac County is taking a road trip to challenge St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vienna, they will host Eldorado at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Vienna is facing Eldorado at the right time seeing as Eldorado is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
