Volleyball Recap: Lodi Comes Up Short

Lodi was the 2-1 winner over Portage when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15.

Ellie Keyeski paced Lodi's offense, picking up four kills. Keyeski got some help from Hailey Bell and her eight assists. Ella Best controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lodi's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Portage, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Lodi has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Edgerton on the 26th. As for Portage, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Janesville Parker at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
