Baseball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison lost against Sturgeon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-2.

Madison's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sturgeon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Madison will challenge Pilot Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sturgeon, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against New Franklin on the 8th.
