Soccer Recap: Battle Mountain Falls Short Against Ranked Pine Creek + How To Watch

Battle Mountain faced Pine Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Huskies lost 6-3 to the Eagles. The matchup was a close 3-2 at the break, but unfortunately for Battle Mountain it sure didn't stay that way.

They hit Pine Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jakob Methvin, Carlos Gardea, and Carlos Ventura.

Battle Mountain's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3-2. As for Pine Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season.

Battle Mountain will face off against Mullen at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pine Creek, they will venture away from home to square off against Doherty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
