Softball Game Preview: Enterprise Hornets vs. Anderson Cubs

Enterprise is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Anderson a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Enterprise Hornets will look to defend their home field against the Anderson Cubs at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Enterprise's offense. They lost 13-0 to Chico on Friday.

Meanwhile, Anderson came up short against University Prep on Friday, falling 18-3.

Caydence Dial was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Madison Clendenen also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Everything went Enterprise's way against Anderson in their previous matchup back in April, as Enterprise made off with a 24-7 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Cubs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
