Basketball Recap: Harrison Triumphs

While Harrison didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions with a 59-53 win on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-41 two weeks ago.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Harrison will square off against Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Harrison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Rutherford likes a good challenge. As for Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, they will venture away from home to challenge Kennedy on Wednesday.
