It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bloomfield had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bernalillo Spartans 65-14. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bloomfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 344 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Bloomfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Peyton Duncan led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 129 rushing yards.

When it comes to explaining why Bernalillo lost, don't look at Kenneth Saiz. Despite the final result, he picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. Saiz also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.

The victory for Bloomfield keeps them at an undefeated 11-0. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.5 points per game. As for Bernalillo, they dropped their record down to 9-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 62-28 win against St. Pius X on the 30th. Bernalillo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
