Basketball Game Preview: McKeel Academy Wildcats vs. Auburndale Bloodhounds + Official Tickets

Having just played yesterday, the McKeel Academy Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Auburndale Bloodhounds at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McKeel Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Auburndale likes a good challenge.

McKeel Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Ridgeview Global Studies Academy 70-14. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Auburndale came up short against Forest on Saturday and fell 57-49. While the Bloodhounds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 16-12 in the first quarter.

Auburndale's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2. As for McKeel Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

McKeel Academy was taken down by Auburndale 62-28 in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
