Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 56-41 fall against the Eagle Rock Eagles. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 65-49 to the Eagles when the teams met back in January of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Eagle Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will challenge rival Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eagle Rock is set to take on their familiar foe Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
