Basketball Preview: Weskan Coyotes vs. Cheylin Cougars
Weskan is 2-8 against Cheylin since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Weskan Coyotes will host the Cheylin Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Trey Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 36 points. The game was his 32nd in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dodger Allen, who posted 18 points.

Weskan pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.8 points. As for Cheylin, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Weskan couldn't quite finish off Cheylin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 54-51. Thankfully for Weskan, Pablo Bermudez (who went 11 of 18 on his way to 27 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals) won't be suiting up this time.
