Soccer Recap: Lincoln's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Lincoln kept a clean sheet against Buchholz on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Buchholz Bobcats, sneaking past 1-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Buchholz, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln and Leon will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Buchholz, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop Kenny at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Bishop Kenny is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
