Football Recap: Fowlerville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Fowlerville's offense. They took a blow against the Williamston Hornets on Friday, falling 35-0. The loss continues a trend for the Gladiators in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost six in a row.

Fowlerville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Williamston, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fowlerville will face off against rival Haslett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Williamston is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Johns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hornets 10.8, the Redwings 14) so any points scored will be well earned.
