Softball Game Preview: South Central Trojans vs. Mapleton Mounties

For the second straight game, South Central will face off against Mapleton. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mounties at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Central is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Monday just wasn't the day for South Central's offense. They came up short against Mapleton on Monday, falling 12-0.

South Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zaida Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Mapleton pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for South Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
