Baseball Recap: Aurora East Comes Up Short

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 4-0 to the West Chicago Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tomcats of the 11-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Aurora East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Chicago, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora East will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Bartlett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Chicago, they will host Glenbard East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
