Soccer Game Preview: Monroe vs. North Henderson

The Monroe Redhawks will head out to challenge the North Henderson Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Monroe didn't have quite enough to beat Forest Hills and fell 3-2.

Isabella Huesca and Wendy Silva scored both of the Redhawks' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, North Henderson was not quite Smoky Mountain's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that North Henderson have lost by just one goal.

Monroe now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for North Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-2.
