Basketball Recap: Lake Shore Takes a Loss

The Lake Shore Eagles lost 69-46 to the Grand Island Vikings on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 561st, while the Vikings are ranked 158th).

Lake Shore dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Grand Island, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

As of now, neither Lake Shore nor Grand Island have any future games scheduled.
